Terms of Service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Ring 2 Tech, LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company ("Ring 2 Tech", "we", "us" or "our"). They cover your use of the ring2orderâ„¢ service, the ring2order dashboard and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, buying a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and "you" means that business.

1. The Service

ring2order is business software provided as an online service (software as a service). It is not a telephone service: we do not sell phone lines, calling plans, SIM cards or phone numbers. You keep your own phone provider and choose which calls to forward to the Service.

ring2order answers phone calls for restaurants and food businesses. A computer-generated virtual host, powered by artificial intelligence technology from third-party providers, answers callers using the menu, prices, hours and settings you provide. It can take pickup orders, take delivery orders (with the delivery add-on), answer questions, look up, change or cancel pending orders, take messages and pass calls to your staff. Orders, calls, recordings and transcripts are made available in your online dashboard. With the reservations add-on, it can also take table bookings by phone, through an online booking page for your website, and through a waitlist kiosk for walk-in guests.

The Service is a business tool for restaurants. It is not intended for personal, family or household use.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at support@ring2order.com if you think your account has been used without permission.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Menu and settings. You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu, prices, opening hours, tax rate, delivery fee, delivery area and other settings. The virtual host relies on this information.
  • Checking orders. Computer-generated conversations can misunderstand callers. You should review each order before preparing it, and you remain responsible for your food, your service and your dealings with your customers.
  • Notices and consents. Calls handled by the Service are recorded and transcribed. You are responsible for giving any notice and getting any consent that the laws where you operate require for calls to be answered by a virtual host, recorded and transcribed, and for guests to receive text messages about their bookings.
  • Lawful use. You may not use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading, to sell age-restricted or illegal goods unlawfully, to place unsolicited calls, or to interfere with or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Call routing. To connect your forwarded calls to the Service, we may assign a routing number to your account while your subscription is active. It is part of the Service, only sends calls to the Service, and is not a phone line or calling plan sold to you. We may reclaim it after your subscription ends.

4. Payment, our reseller and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

  • Pickup service. Every ordering plan includes the pickup service for $15 per month.
  • Reservations only plan. Stand-alone reservations software for restaurants that do not take phone orders costs $55 per month: the $35 reservations software plus a 100-minute pack ($20). You can buy more minutes in any pack at any time. It includes phone bookings, an online booking page, a waitlist kiosk and guest text messages, but not phone ordering or the pickup service.
  • Assistant minutes. Usage of the Service is measured in assistant minutes: the time the software spends handling calls for you. In addition to the pickup service, you buy assistant minutes each month. Pay as you go packs cost $0.20 per assistant minute: 100 minutes for $20, 250 minutes for $50, or 500 minutes for $100. The Busy restaurant pack is 1000 minutes for $150 and the Rush hour pack is 2000 minutes for $300 ($0.15 per assistant minute). The minimum monthly purchase is 100 minutes, so the minimum monthly charge is $35. Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • Add-ons. The Delivery add-on is $15 per month. The Reservations add-on is $20 per month. Add-ons can be added to any ordering plan.
  • Extra minutes. You can buy any minute pack at any time during the month.
  • How assistant minutes are used. Assistant minutes measure the time the Service spends handling calls for you. Each call is rounded up to the next full minute. Each automated text the Service sends for you, such as a reservation confirmation, reminder or waitlist update, counts as 1 assistant minute.
  • Rollover. Unused minutes roll over from month to month for as long as your account remains current, meaning your plan is active and all payments are up to date. Unused minutes end, with no cash value or refund, if your account is cancelled or a payment is more than 10 days overdue, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • Done-for-you setup. Optional one-time setup by our team costs $149. Self-serve setup is free.
  • Taxes. Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes. Paddle will add any sales tax that applies to your purchase.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend the Service until the payment is made.
  • Price changes. We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price increase applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and Paddle's Refund Policy.

6. Price-match promise

If you find a comparable service at a lower price, we will match it, subject to these conditions:

  • The other service must be a phone answering and ordering service for restaurants that offers the same features you use with ring2order, including order taking, pickup and delivery handling (if you use delivery), multilingual callers, an online dashboard, and call recordings and transcripts.
  • The lower price must be the other provider's current, publicly advertised price for customers in the United States. Private quotes, introductory or limited-time offers, free trials, bundles and prices that depend on other purchases do not qualify.
  • We compare the total monthly cost for your actual usage, including plan fees, add-on fees, minute charges and any other required fees.
  • Send the details, with a link or other proof, to support@ring2order.com. Once we verify the offer, the matched price applies from your next billing period. It does not apply to past charges and is not paid as a refund.
  • We decide in good faith whether a service is comparable. We may change or end this promise for future billing periods by updating these Terms.

7. Data and privacy

You own your restaurant's data, including your menu, orders and customer records. You give us permission to use it to provide, secure and improve the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including the information of people who call your restaurant. We use trusted service providers, including providers of telephone, speech and artificial intelligence technology, to run the Service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running at all times, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service depends on telephone networks and third-party providers outside our control. We may update or change features from time to time. If we make a change that significantly reduces the Service you pay for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, the ring2order name and logo, and all related software and content belong to Ring 2 Tech, LLC or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service.

10. Disclaimer

Except as stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every call will be understood correctly or that every order will be captured without error.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ring 2 Tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost orders or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Ring 2 Tech against claims brought by third parties, including your customers, arising from your food, your business, your menu and settings, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if you do not pay, or if we must do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 7 and 9 to 15 continue after your account ends.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and both parties agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

15. General

  • We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or in your dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • These Terms, with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • You may not transfer your account without our written consent.
